According to Kholodnitskyi, if such decision was made concerning any prosecutor, including anti-corruption or general prosecutor, then it would be sufficient ground for dismissal

Nazar Kholodnitskyi told this in an interview with RBC. According to the prosecutor, the placement of Artem Sytnyk on the register of National agency of corruption prevention was made in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation. "There is decision of the court entered into force, and it should be executed. Otherwise if prosecutors or detectives do not comply with court decisions, then what can be discussed concerning the rule of law in the country?"

Speaking about Artem Sytnyk which remained on his post after he was placed on the register of corrupt persons, Nazar Kholodnitskyi stated that the law regulating NABU defines a comprehensive list of grounds for dismissing of NABU director. But such court decision concerning any prosecutor would lead to his dismissal: "If such decision was made concerning any prosecutor, including anti-corruption or general prosecutor, then it would be sufficient ground for dismissal. That is the law".

It should be reminded that Artem Sytnyk was found guilty of corruption after he spent an elite holiday on a hunting base in Rivne region. All his expanses were paid by another person. Sytnyk was placed on the state register of corrupt officials. Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada collected 216 signatures under the draft resolution for the dismissal of Sytnik. The Verkhovna Rada Law Enforcement Committee recommended that Parliament decide to dismiss Sytnyk as NABU director.
